Summary
This release focuses on many background data quality improvements, the new Patient Journey feature, and visit-level consent directives.
Clinical
Enhancements
-
- Added the ‘Patient Journey’ feature. The Journey visualizes events from contributing health care sectors into a moveable and customizable timeline. Note: some users may not have permission to events from every health care sector.
- Enabled the ‘Data Contributions’ dashboard for all users. This dashboard will show you a real-time status of contributing data sources.
- A patient’s ‘Last Active’ date will now display for all contributing health care sectors. These dates will be displayed on the patient profile; the most recent by default, and the rest within a tooltip.
- Users may now set a patient’s primary care provider to blank. This may be useful in cases where a patient switches providers and/or moves to a new location.
- A warning on the patient profile will display when there are one or more visit-level consent directives active.
- Patient lists on the ‘My Patients’ page are now sortable by date created.
- Updated legend colours in the ‘Hospital Surge Monitoring’ dashboard.
Bug Fixes
-
- Reviewed & fixed an issue where newborn patients (less than one year of age) would have multiple patient profiles.
Administrative
- Privacy officers may now create visit-level consent directives.
Technical
- Added the ability for SHIIP to receive visit-level consent directives from contributing
- hospitals in real-time. Visits that have a directive applied will be excluded from all features (including risk score calculations).
- SHIIP will now record ‘Last Active’ dates for each contributing data source.
