SHIIP v3.8.0 Release Notes

Overview

  • This document summarizes the new features, changes, and major fixes for the next release version of SHIIP.
  • SHIIP is scheduled to be upgraded to version 3.8.0 and available for use on February 13th 2019.
  • This release focuses on bug fixes, usability improvements and mobile responsiveness.

Major Fixes

  • Various security patches & improvements throughout the application.
  • Users should no longer see an error when they do not have permission to view notifications.
  • Many minor bug fixes throughout the Organization Management module (for Administrators only).
  • Accounts that have been locked due to too many unsuccessful login attempts can now be unlocked via the user interface (for Administrators only).
  • A user’s Last Login date is now displayed correctly when viewing/editing their user profile.
  • Fixed an issue where Administrators would inadvertently create duplicate organizations.
  • Fixed an issue that was causing some Coordinated Care Plans (CCP) to show an error when a user would attempt to print.

Major Improvements

  • Improved responsiveness on every SHIIP web page for smaller devices such as tablets and smartphones.
  • Administrators can now delete an Access Group on the ‘Manage Access Security’ page.
  • The first version of the Coordinated Care Plan has been stripped out of the application. You can still download a PDF of the archived CCP if desired. (Note: this is only available for patients that had an archived CCP)
  • An ‘Administrator Notes’ section has been added to both Organization and User profiles. Administrators can enter any information they deem useful. Note: This information is viewable to other administrators.
  • The top-right patient search has been redesigned for ease-of-use and improved performance.
  • The primary care provider search on the Create Patient page has been redesigned for ease-of-use and improved performance.
  • Users can now override a patient to ‘Complex’ without selecting any additional complex conditions.
  • Descriptions have been added to each of the Health Links indicators.
  • Addictions & Mental Health data (for users in the South East LHIN) now supports receiving contact information.
  • Administrators can now update a user’s username (email address).
  • Various updates to 3rd party resources & libraries used by SHIIP.
