SHIIP v3.0.0 Release Notes

This document summarizes the new features, changes, and major fixes for the next release version of SHIIP.
SHIIP is scheduled to be upgraded to version 3.0.0 and available for use on June 8th, 2017.

This release focuses on a variety of performance improvements, access control, and an enhanced Community Support Services view.

Roles in SHIIP have been replaced by Access Groups. Each SHIIP feature is now only accessible to those within an appropriate access group. Administrators will be able to create and edit groups as required.
The Community Support Services tab within the Patient Profile has been redone to provide users with more information, including; active services, service records, case notes, etc.
Many performance improvements that should significantly reduce load times on the Home, Dashboard, and Patient Search pages.
Input validation for the Coordinated Care Plan page has been updated to reduce errors and improve consistency.
Email notification templates have been updated to provide more guidance when using SHIIP via Citrix.
Patients with a consent directive will no longer display in Watch Lists OR trigger a notification.
The title of drilled-down metrics will now display on the drill-down section.
Patient Search will no longer search automatically on page load.
‘All Patients’ has been renamed to ‘Patient Search’

On the Acute Care dashboard, drill-downs will now accurately represent the number values in the “Patient Count” / “Episode Count” columns.
On the Acute Care dashboard, drill-downs will now accurately represent the provider group selected.
The SHIIP icon in the top left corner will now appropriately redirect to the Home page.
In Notification Management, the default tab should now be selected on page load.
The Acute Care dashboard will now display appropriately on smaller screens.
The provider search in the top right corner has been removed.
