SHIIP v1.0.5 Release Notes

Overview

• This document summarizes the new features, changes, and major fixes for the next release version of SHIIP.
• SHIIP is scheduled to be upgraded to version 1.0.5 and available for use on May 9, 2016.
• Below communicates the most notable changes and improvements. For a detailed list that includes the technical details, please see contact information below

New Enhancements and Features

• An additional view has been created for care coordinators that limit the viewing of aggregated patient health information. Unlike the current ‘advanced care coordinator’ view that provides users the complete functionality of SHIIP, the ‘light care coordinator’ view requires the user to search for specific patients by using the patients’ health card number.
• Patients can now be removed from the roster by using the removal button located within the patient profile.
• Patients can now be added to multiple watch lists. Furthermore, all reporting components in SHIIP can be recalculated based on the watch list.
• CCP enhancements:
  • Within the CCP is a new ‘Admin’ button that enables the user to input some administrative data for SHIIP (i.e. closed, declined or patient deceased).
  • Larger font size.
• A new care coordination dashboard that facilitates the reporting for CCP related indicators for health links.
• A new Community Support Services dashboard that will display the related community support services a patient is actively using. The dashboard also displays when the patient began the service, their next planned event as well as the end date of the service.
• Notifications through email are now more streamlined. The link provided within the email now links to a specific area in SHIIP as well as users are notified about specific sections of the CCP that have been edited.
• A new help button that links to the new redesigned ‘Help’ section.
• A new notification bell that will highlight recent communications such as release notes, newsletters, public health announcements or general health system alerts (i.e. influenza outbreaks). The notification center will also contain all patient related notifications that are received through email.

Major Fixes

• Improvements to LACE and HARP filter.
• Corrections to the ‘Watch List’ on the home page.
• CTAS chart on the indicators tab to allow filtering on selected CTAS.
