SHIIP v1.0.3 Release Notes

This document summarizes the new features, changes, and major fixes for the next release version of SHIIP.
SHIIP is scheduled to be upgraded to version 1.0.3 and available for use on Feb 1, 2016.
Below communicates the most notable changes and improvements. For a detailed list that includes the technical details, please see contact information below.

Areas where the Natural Language Processor (NLP) within SHIIP has provided data will be italicized and an asterisk (i.e. the Diagnoses column in the Hospital Acute Care Details within a patient profile.)
Enhancements to sections of the CCP
- Free text is now available in the My Situation/Lifestyle section of the CCP
- Dates can be entered via free text
- Additional options as well as free text is now supported for the Health Needs section
- More fields will auto-populate with information
- Improvements to the user interface to note the mandatory fields
- Validation improvements for the CCP and Health card numbers
Notifications for CCP changes
Users can save individual profile settings for SHIIP
A new indicators tab that displays readmission counts, preventable visits, number of complex patients and HARP score trends
Physicians and Nurse Practitioners can select the complex patient tag within the patient profile to override the complex flag
Font size adjustment and controls at the top right of the home page

Pagination buttons located on the home page have been corrected to fit on one line
Sorting by provider and complexity have been corrected on the home page
Compatibility enhancements for users with Internet Explorer 11
Improvements to the acute length of stay (LOS) calculations
Visual improvements to the LACE chart
