SHIIP v5.6.1 Release Notes

SHIIP v5.5.1 Release Notes

Overview

Overview

Major Improvements

  • SHIIP will now keep a historical record of a patient’s primary care providers.
  • SHIIP will now keep a historical record of a patient’s address and phone number.
  • SHIIP will now keep a historical record of a hospital visit’s Alternate Level of Care (ALC) status for supporting hospitals.
  • Significant improvements to the ‘In Hospital’ filter that will allow users to find patients that are active at a very specific location (including service/clinic and floor/point).
  • Added a validation tool to the Hospital Surge Monitoring dashboard. This will be available to select users.
  • Added an administration tool to the Hospital Surge Monitoring dashboard that will allow creation of notes.

SHIIP v5.4.1 Release Notes

Overview

  • Session timeout warnings will now display for five minutes instead of one minute.

  • The Hospital Details page will now remember the actual column you are sorting by, rather than the position.

  • Row totals for available beds in the Hospital Surge Monitoring dashboard will now ignore negative bed counts.

  • Information will now display correctly when navigating away and back to the Home Care tab within the Patient Profile.
  • Fixed an issue where patient profile features (adding to a list, updating patient status, etc.) were not appearing if the profile was visited from a shared URL.
  • Sorting by Discharge Date on the Home page now properly sorts patient activity.

SHIIP v5.4.0 Release Notes

Overview

  • This document summarizes the updates included in a major release for SHIIP.
  • This release focuses on the inclusion of post-acute admission, discharge, and transfer (ADT) data from Providence Care Centre.
  • This release is scheduled to be available for use on January 8th, 2021.

 

Major Improvements

 

  • Real-time post-acute care admission, discharge, and transfer (ADT) data from Providence Care Centre is now available.
  • Added a regional hospital surge monitoring dashboard to support resource planning. This feature is only available to select users.
  • Integrated user authentication with DUO Security to enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). This will help us improve account management and login processes moving forward.
  • The login page has been redesigned to improve look-and-feel and support the MFA integration mentioned above.
  • A new support email address and phone number has been created and will be available by January 15th. Further details will be available on this website.
  • Removed some fields required on the CCP Information page that were included to support Health Links metric calculations.
  • Added a new ‘CCP Activity Status’ to the Advanced Search page.
  • Added a new CCP activity status of ‘Other’.
  • All references to ‘Acute Care’ have been renamed to support the inclusion of post-acute data from Providence Care Centre.
  • Day procedure and outpatient visit types have been combined into ‘Outpatient’ tabs on the Home page and Hospital Details page within the patient profile.
  • Users may now set custom column visibility and order on the Home page, as well as the Hospital Details page within the Patient Profile.
  • Added Master Record Number (MRN), length of stay, and mHOMR (available to select pilot users only) as available columns on the Home page.
  • Added ‘My Profile’ page that will allow users to view certain details about their account, as well as update an expanding list of preferences.
  • Added a ‘Landing Page’ preference that allows users to select their preferred landing page. By default, this is set to the Home page.
  • Added ‘Theme’ profile preference to improve accessibility for users with vision impairment – WCAG 2.0 Level A, WCAG 2.0 Level AA (partial). Users can choose between the default theme and the new ‘High Contrast’ theme.
  • Notification settings on the Practice List / Patient List pages have been redesigned to improve intuitiveness and scalability.
  • Improved page load times throughout the application.
  • Many other updates to improve user experience, performance, and security.

Overview

Major Improvements

  • Added new ‘mHOMR Threshold’ filter to the Advanced Search page. This is currently only available to select users.
  • Improved the design of several Coordinated Care Plan pages when viewed on a device with a small resolution. (mobile phones, tablets, etc.)
  • Applied a consistent and easier-to-read date/time format throughout the system.

 

Major Fixes

  • Fixed a paging error on the Acute Care Details page that would not display the correct information.
  • Fixed a discharge date error on the Acute Care Details page.
  • Fixed an issue where the Addictions & Mental Health program history modal would sometimes display the incorrect program status.
  • Fixed an issue where selecting ‘All Patient Lists’ on the patient population drop-down would display an error.

SHIIP v5.3.0 Release Notes

Overview

  • This document summarizes the updates included in a major release for SHIIP.
  • This release focuses on adding a variety of features related to user support and a redesigned Addictions & Mental Health page.
  • This release is scheduled to be available for use on October 7th, 2020.

 

Major Improvements

  • The Addictions & Mental Health page within the Patient Profile has been redesigned to better support the workflow of users in that sector.
  • Added a variety of features that will assist our support team with user issues; including improved user verification via multiple secure methods.
  • Users can now search for patients that have or do not have a primary care provider by using the ‘Unattached’ advanced search filter.
  • Added a new ‘Password Reset’ feature that can be triggered by support staff and will allow users to reset their password.
  • A patient search filter has been added to the Consent Directives page and will allow users to filter by name, health card number, or patient ID.
  • Advanced search filters have been added to the global patient population. This feature will be restricted to a small subset of users but may expand in the future.
  • SHIIP has integrated with a service that allows it to send SMS text messages to users with verified mobile phone numbers.
  • The following CCP pages now allow re-ordering of entries: Care Team, Care Consent & ACP, Health, Goals & Action Plan, Allergies, Medications, and Health Assessments.

 

Minor Changes / Fixes

  • Admission and discharge times on the Home page, Dashboards, and Acute Care Details within the patient profile will now display the time (instead of just the date).
  • The Community Support Services page within the Patient Profile now displays count totals for each data section (core services, events, case notes).
  • Each Advanced Search Filter now has a corresponding permission, allowing SHIIP to enable/disable filters for certain users.
  • The email that users receive when logging in with a new browser/device has been updated to be more descriptive.
  • The Patient List search bar has been modified to be more consistent with other search methods.
  • Users will now receive a notification when another user accepts or rejects a Patient List share.
  • Users will no longer get notified when performing an update to a Coordinated Care Plan.
  • Users can now filter by equipment or supplies on the Home & Community Care page.
  • Website ‘bread crumbs’ have been added to every page, allowing easier navigation.
  • The Audit Tool reports will now display the user’s city based on IP address.
  • Users will now be notified when their account is close to it’s expiry date.
  • The ‘Print CCP’ feature has been modified to improve intuitiveness.
