SHIIP v3.2.1 Release Notes

Overview

SHIIP v3.2.0 Release Notes

Overview

  • This document summarizes the new features, changes, and major fixes for the next release version of SHIIP.
  • SHIIP is scheduled to be upgraded to version 3.2.0 and available for use on September 14th 2017.

New Enhancements and Features

  • The new version of the Coordinated Care Plan (CCP) has been added.
  • Pre-existing CCP data will be migrated to the new CCP where appropriate.
  • A drop-down menu has added to the CCP tab in a Patient Profile. This should allow quicker access to specific pages.
  • An archived view of a patient’s previous CCP version is available in two places; the new drop-down CCP menu, and when printing the newest CCP version.
  • Many UI improvements throughout the application for readability and clarity.
  • Performance improvements to the Dashboards.

Major Fixes

  • Email notifications should now only be sent to active SHIIP accounts.
  • Risk Profile charts will now load as expected. In some cases, they would appear too small to read.
  • ‘Episode Count’ for the Complex Patients indicator should now show the correct value on the Acute Care Dashboard.

SHIIP v3.1.0 Release Notes

Overview

New Enhancements and Features

  • User passwords are now secured by a stronger level of encryption.
  • Administrators can now force a password reset for users.
  • Passwords now have a complexity requirement. These requirements are listed when updating your password.
  • Users can now ‘Select All’ when managing notifications for more than one patient.
  • Accounts are now locked if a user fails to sign in more than ten times. An administrator has the ability to unlock the account.
  • The Community Support Services tab has been updated, case notes now show in a collapsible table.
  • Patient fetching algorithms have been updated for improved performance.
  • There is now a ‘Clear All’ button for notifications.
  • Watch List descriptions now display the actual input description; opposed to a breakdown of each filter on the list.

Major Fixes

  • Customer support accounts are now able to see the Expiry Date field on user profiles.
  • The Complex Override modal should now appear when on all Patient Profile tabs.
  • Users assigned to a site with a ‘Hospital’ link type should now be able to open Patient Profiles.

SHIIP v3.0.1 Release Notes

Overview

  • Average Length of Stay calculations on the Acute Care dashboard now only account for patient episodes with a discharge.
  • The Support Request feature is once again functional on the sign-in page.
  • HARP / LACE scores will now sort by actual score instead of the grouping they fall into.

SHIIP v3.0.0 Release Notes

Overview

  • This document summarizes the new features, changes, and major fixes for the next release version of SHIIP.

  • This release focuses on a variety of performance improvements, access control, and an enhanced Community Support Services view.

New Enhancements and Features

  • Roles in SHIIP have been replaced by Access Groups. Each SHIIP feature is now only accessible to those within an appropriate access group. Administrators will be able to create and edit groups as required.
  • The Community Support Services tab within the Patient Profile has been redone to provide users with more information, including; active services, service records, case notes, etc.
  • Many performance improvements that should significantly reduce load times on the Home, Dashboard, and Patient Search pages.
  • Input validation for the Coordinated Care Plan page has been updated to reduce errors and improve consistency.
  • Email notification templates have been updated to provide more guidance when using SHIIP via Citrix.
  • Patients with a consent directive will no longer display in Watch Lists OR trigger a notification.
  • The title of drilled-down metrics will now display on the drill-down section.
  • Patient Search will no longer search automatically on page load.
  • ‘All Patients’ has been renamed to ‘Patient Search’

Major Fixes

  • On the Acute Care dashboard, drill-downs will now accurately represent the number values in the “Patient Count” / “Episode Count” columns.
  • On the Acute Care dashboard, drill-downs will now accurately represent the provider group selected.
  • The SHIIP icon in the top left corner will now appropriately redirect to the Home page.
  • In Notification Managementthe default tab should now be selected on page load.
  • The Acute Care dashboard will now display appropriately on smaller screens.
  • The provider search in the top right corner has been removed.

SHIIP v2.2.0 Release Notes

Overview

New Enhancements and Features

  • The Home page has been redesigned. Users can now view activity filtered by watchlist, patient group, and provider group.
  • Users can now add the following pre-configured diagnoses to custom watchlists; DiabetesCOPDCHFAddictions and Mental Health.
  • Users can now remove all diagnoses codes from a custom watchlist, rather than removing them one at a time.
  • Selected watchlists will now remain when navigating between the Home and Dashboard pages.
  • Users can now set notification settings for more than one patient at a time.
  • Operational definitions have been added to the Acute Care dashboard. You can view these by placing your mouse over the metric titles.
  • Locked patient records can now be identified by a pop-up window with the relative contact information.
  • Users will now receive a prompt to extend their SHIIP session after staying on the same page for 20 minutes.
  • Refinements to the Audit Tool for enhanced performance and search capability.
  • The Support Request button is now accessible on the sign-in page.

Major Fixes

  • Checkboxes will now work as expected when using Internet Explorer (they were not properly displaying saved values).
  • Patients created manually in SHIIP will now properly display the Primary Care Provider if there are no existing episodes.
  • Coordinated Care Plan select boxes will no longer default to the first option when using the Safari browser.
  • Articles are now listed by descending date in the SHIIP Help Centre.

SHIIP v2.1.4 Release Notes

Overview

New Enhancements and Features

  • Home page performance has been improved.
  • Custom Watch List descriptions are now limited to 700 characters.
  • SHIIP’s gender list has been standardized to conform with ADT / DAD / NACRS / CCP definitions.
  • Additional risk scores have been added to custom Watch Lists, specifically: RIW, AUA, MAPLe, CSI.
  • The Audit Tool now groups logs by page request which should increase readability for administrators.

Major Fixes

  • SHIIP users with large patient rosters should notice significantly quicker loading times on the Home page.
  • User account expiry date will no longer update erroneously when updating your name information.
  • Selecting ‘None’ for the Provider filter in Patient Search will now correctly show patients without a primary care provider.
  • The Time Range filter for recent patients on the Home page will now properly display patients within the selected range.
  • Patients created manually or automatically will now properly display the patient’s primary care provider.

SHIIP v2.1.3 Release Notes

SHIIP v2.1.2 Release Notes

SHIIP v2.1.1 Release Notes

Overview

  • This document summarizes the new features, changes, and major fixes for the next release version of SHIIP.
  • SHIIP is scheduled to be upgraded to version 2.1.1 and available for use on December 19th, 2016.

  • This hotfix release focused on adding desired criteria for custom Watch Lists and additional/enhanced functionality for the Audit Tool (only available to SHIIP administrators).

New Enhancements and Features

  • Additional filters have been added to custom Watch Lists.
    1. Patients with or without a Coordinated Care Plan (or both)
    2. Patients with specific genders (male, female, unknown, ambiguous, other, not applicable)
    3. Patients within an age range (can select multiple ranges)
    4. Patients on a specific provider’s roster
  • A description field has been added to Watch Lists to allow for a more verbose explanation of Watch List criteria.
  • Additional features have been added to the Audit tool  (see example image #2):
    1. Administrators can now switch to an HTTP audit which allows them to see which SHIIP pages have been visited.
    2. Administrators can now select a custom date range for audit logs. This should improve Audit Log performance.

Major Fixes

  • The Watch List Management page will now properly load.
